Official Minutes of The Lions Club of Frederick
September 26, 2000
The Lions Club of Frederick held it monthly Board meeting on September 26, 2000 at The Red Horse Restaurant. The meeting was called to order by Lion President JoAnn Hevey at 12:00 Noon. The following individuals were present:

1. The minutes for the August 22, 2000 Board meeting were approved.
2. The Treasurer reported $1,474.27 in the Administrative Fund and $12,397.44 in the Activities Fund. The August 2000 report was approved.
3. The Board discussed the United Way contribution of $500 in this year's budget.
This was tabled temporarily and will be addressed again in the future.
4. Two applications have been received for membership. John Ferguson will be
Installed on October 12th. Mary Ann Kriner will be installed in November after she has been advertised in the newsletter.
5. Lion Bill Simmons reported for the Membership Committee. A contest is being
considered to increase membership. A drive is being planned for each member
to bring a potential new member.
On motion, the meeting was adjourned at 1:00 PM.
